Invitation to the second nationwide online participation: priorities for the research compass
The “Kommit” project invites those affected and relatives to bring their priorities for the research compass mental health. The goal is to support researchers in the future to align their choice of theme more on the needs of those affected and their relatives.
The first Germany -wide participation of affected mental health, "Kommit", goes into the next round. The results of an open query of relevant research topics in spring 2024 were evaluated and further deepened in conversation groups. Now those affected and relatives have been invited across Germany to give their opinion on the individual topics in a three-week online dialogue on the Kommit-deutschland.de website.
The topics to be prioritized concern various areas such as work, education, diagnosis, treatment, society & social affairs, quality of life & well -being, prevention of psychological difficulties, support offers, causes as well as development and consequences of psychological difficulties. The participation of concerns serves to create the research compass mental health, supports the researchers in their choice of topic.
An important special feature is the openness to results and deepening the project. In the first online dialog, experience experts were able to contribute to topics for topics that they think should be treated in research. The second online dialog is now about coordinating the relevance of these topics. The reviews of the experience experts in the online dialog are taken into account when creating the final research compass.
The “Kommit” project was initiated by those affected and relatives and is supported by the German Center for Mental Health (DZPG). The aim is to actively integrate other affected people and their relatives in research. The research compass mental health will be published in early 2025 and is intended to help you choose the topic selection of researchers better to the needs of those affected.
The German Center for Mental Health (DZPG) has been working since May 2023 to improve the mental health of the population and to date at date. The DZPG is an association of experts from research, clinic, experience experts and international scientists.
