Student fashion designers present innovative clothing models on the Düsseldorfer Kö
Invitation to the fashion show of the AMD Academy Mode & Design on Königsallee in Düsseldorf on July 27, 2024
On July 27, 2024, the AMD Academy Mode & Design invites you to an impressive fashion show on Königsallee in Düsseldorf. The pre-opening begins at 2 p.m. on Cornelius-Platz, where the students of the Düsseldorf AMD will present their innovative clothing models. Participation in the event is free and offers the visitor: Inside the opportunity to get an insight into the semester project "Who are you - about me!" to obtain.
The semester project "Who are you - about me!" was developed by the students of the 2nd semester fashion design (B.A.). The focus was on sustainable aspects such as upcycling and redesign. The prospective designers: Inside, the interaction of contemporary trends and costume -historical elements have dealt intensively. A special highlight of the project was the integration of the flags, which in 2023 announced Düsseldorf Fashion Days on Königsallee, into the newly created silhouettes.
The fashion show not only offers a unique presentation of the creativity and the talent of the students, but also an opportunity to get to know the aspiring designers personally. Some of the students who stand behind this project are Ayleen Schmitz, Afsal Ouro-Yima, Jasmina Nicolosi, Timo Urbahn, Zahid Serim and Louisa Buurs.
In addition to the fashion show, part of the dresses from July 22nd to 29th are exhibited in the Nio House Düsseldorf. Interested parties have the opportunity to visit the exhibition Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The exhibition in the Nio House Düsseldorf is also free of charge.
