The alarming situation led to the arrest of two -suspect men aged 35 and 44, which were taken up near the club. Despite intensive controls, no talented objects could be found in the suspects, so that they were released after the police measures have been completed. However, the investigation is directed not only against these two, but also against unknown, since similar incidents have been documented in the past. These refer to reports from women who were attacked in different contexts with syringes.

The police have initiated an investigation into dangerous bodily harm. Violent crimes, which also include such attacks, are less than 4% of all police crimes recorded in Germany, but they significantly influence the population's feeling of security. Around 217,000 violent crimes were registered in Germany for 2024, which has been the highest number since 2007. After a decline during Corona pandemic, the cases have risen again since then, which is attributed by experts to economic uncertainties and social stress.
