Chess for kids: Next appointment in the Gottfried-Bennn library!
The preference for chess is growing, especially among the younger ones. This trend promotes the Gottfried-Benn-Library that has been offering chess activities for children for a year. In cooperation with the Chess club Zehlendorf e.v. This offer continues to inspire children for the strategic game.
Every second Wednesday of the month, a committed member of the association will be present in the library at 4:30 p.m. in order to bring the game rules and tactics closer to the attentive children. The chairman Helmut Flöel emphasizes the importance of gaining new generations for chess in order to keep the traditional sport alive.
Next dates and registration
The next chess clubs will take place on November 12th and December 10th, 2025. Admission is free, but pre -registration is required. The chess club takes place in the Gottfried-Bennn library, Nentershäuser Platz 1, 14163 Berlin.
