Reiterhof owner in Berlin: Farmer impresses townspeople with a rode cow

A girl rode through Berlin on Sunday on Sunday, and the farmer Pierre Fritzsche is behind it. His goal is to show the cityers how impressive these animals are. According to Fritzsche, they manage to show people that the cow is not only a farm animal, but also a living being. On August 13, the farmer from Geringswalde, in the Mittelachsen district, visited the federal capital with his cow Annabelle. Berliners filmed the extraordinary spectacle and put the videos on the Internet.

Originally, Fritzsche is the owner of the riding farm. In 2021 he recorded Annabelle, a calf, on his riding stable and started training as a riding cow when she was just eight weeks old. The farmer immediately recognized her potential. He explains that not every calf is suitable and that after eight weeks you can see whether it is very curious or that shows fears. Annabelle was his first calf, but a second should follow.

Fritzsche was pleased with the positive reaction of the people to Annabelle, who was ridden by Berlin on Sunday. The people - including many tourists - were interested and wanted to caress the animal. The Saxon knows that most of them have never seen a living cow up close. Annabelle, who is two years old, accepted the advancement attempts. Fritzsche describes them as very human -related.

Another trip to Berlin is not planned for the time being. It is associated with great effort to transport a cow across Germany. Fritzsche explains that this would cause additional costs, and it would also have to be ensured that the cow can spend the night. As far as the species -appropriate attitude is concerned, nobody has to worry about Annabelle, the farmer emphasizes. The Veterinary Office Mittweida checked the attitude and Annabelle passed the "Kuh-TÜV".

The Saxon cow trainer hangs very much on his Annabelle. For him it is out of the question that one day she ends up in the supermarket as a beef. He explains that she is only slaughtered when she is seriously injured, for example when she breaks one leg. Otherwise she will be allowed to live up to a normal age.

This case shows how farmer Pierre Fritzsche uses his cow Annabelle to bring the fascination and uniqueness of these animals closer to the people in Berlin. It remains to be seen whether other farmers will follow this example and also present their cows in unusual environments. The story of Annabelle and Fritzsche is definitely an example of a harmonious living between humans and animals.
