Digital innovations: Mobile Citizens' Office inspires at the SCCON 2024
At SCCON 2024, one of the most important trade fairs for digitization and smart city concepts, the mobile citizens' office from Reinickendorf was the absolute crowd puller! The enthusiastic visitors flocked to the state of Berlin to get to know the latest digital services. "This fair is the perfect stage to demonstrate how our administration has developed digitally," enthused district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) during the event.
The highlight was the live start of the electronic residence registration, presented by Governing Mayor Kai Wegner. "It is important that you need the online PIN of your ID card or the EID card for electronic residence registration and many other digital administrative services. This PIN can be requested without an appointment in any citizens' office," said Wegner. The special advantages of the mobile citizens' office became particularly clear during the fair: every visitor had the chance to supply the PIN directly on site. A big thank you to the ruling mayor went to the team, which made this valuable support on site.
The mobile citizens' office: flexible and close
The mobile citizens' office from Reinickendorf is an innovative service unit that offers location -independent and flexible services for the citizens of Berlin. All services that can also be found in the stationary offices are provided here: from applying for identity cards and passports to access and re-registrations to good conduct.
"Our goal is to offer people a flexible service that meets their needs," emphasized District Mayor Demirbüken-Wegner. "At the same time, we do everything we can to advance the digital administrative processes in order to create more efficient and more user -friendly solutions." A step into the future that shows how administration can be rethought in times of digitization!
