New Fidic seminar series 2025/26: Registration and first dates in Berlin

Berlin, October 29, 2024 - the time has come again! The Association of Consulting Engineers (VBI) starts an exciting new series of seminars on the application of the Fidic contract conditions. This top -class event attracts construction professionals and engineers like a magnet. The first dates for the training year 2025/26 have been determined and they offer a unique opportunity to familiarize themselves with the most important FIDIC standards!

On November 28, the basic seminar will take place in the German capital. Here the participants have the chance to familiarize themselves with the popular Fidic documents, known as "Rainbow Edition". The Red, Yellow and Silver Book, both in the 1999 and 2017 versions, are on the agenda. These standard works are essential for international construction projects, and also important financiers such as the World Bank recognize their importance.

The seminar not only offers an overview of the much-sought Fidic standards, but also via the extremely practical engineering contract from the "White Book" and the compact contract conditions in the "Green Book", which are ideal for smaller projects. • adjudicator examination course from January 22nd to 24th 2026: conclusion with assessment and examination.

The speakers are no strangers! Dipl.-Ing. Robert Aloys Werth, an experienced adjudicator and trainer, has a significant impact on the "Green Book" and also teaches at the University of Stuttgart. At his side, Dr. Henry Stieglmeier, an experienced lawyer and contract manager in energy technology, who shares his knowledge of international building law issues.
