New e-rickshaw in Wilmersdorf: Free trips for seniors!
Trautenaustraße 5, 10717 Berlin, Deutschland - On May 22, 2025, the district councilors Arne Herz and Oliver Schruoffeneger presented a new e-rickshaw that are available in Berlin. This initiative is intended to facilitate participation in social life in particular. From now on, the e-rickscha can be loaned free of charge in the Pangea house at Trautenaustraße 5 in Wilmersdorf.
The RiScha is specially designed for walking and excursions, with the aim of promoting the social participation of people with restrictions. Relatives, friends and volunteers are cordially invited to use and drive the RiScha. With space for two passengers and a driver, the e-rickshaw offers numerous amenities:
- electric motor and 5-speed circuit
- weather protection through a protective roof structure
- comfortable, agile design (2.00 m long, 1.02 m wide)
loan conditions and registration
The loan of the e-rickshaw is via the Fleet Berlin platform. In order to be able to use the RiScha, some requirements apply:
- a minimum age of 18 years
- existing private liability insurance
- completed driving instruction before the first trip

Those responsible for the project are actively looking for cooperation and support for the expansion of the Pedicab fleet. Facilities can participate as rental locations, while financial support for sponsors is required. In addition, the commitment of voluntary riots, risers and mechanics as well as sponsorships is sought to further expand the offer.
