Free workshops in the intercultural house: integration made easy!
On October 7, 2025, the integration office of the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district office, in cooperation with the VIA Service Academy, announces an exciting workshop series that will take place next November. This initiative is aimed specifically at migrant organizations in the district and pursues the goal of strengthening their skills in the professional planning and financing of projects. The workshops are distributed to four appointments: 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th November 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the intercultural house in Schöneberg.

They are designed in such a way that they build together and help the participants successfully implement their projects. [Berlin.de] (https://www.berlin.de/ba-tempelhof-schoeneberg/aktuelles/pressemayeilungen/2025/Pressemage department. 1598860.php) reports that such offers are essential to make integration into society easier.
Promotion of integration projects
The relevance of such workshops is underlined by the current integration policy. People who come to Germany are often faced with an uncertain start in their new living environment. Here in particular, associations, associations and non -profit organizations do important work by promoting projects for refugees and migrants. In 2024, a total of 10.3 million euros will be invested in projects, the aim of which is to support refugees from Ukraine and other groups in need of protection such as children and women. Integration Representative emphasizes that these projects include sports courses, workshops on the German world of work and education for violence prevention.
The funding focuses on making people empowering and making them active members of society. This also includes the qualification and training of volunteers who are indispensable for the support of migrants and refugees. In accordance with the integration officers, special attention also applies to combating racism and group -related misanthropy, which will be funded in 2024 with 9.6 million euros. Projects on political education and strategies in dealing with racism are also supported.
European funding in Germany
Another important aspect of integration work is European funding that comes from Brussels and are awarded via the federal and state governments. Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and the European Social Fund (ESF) Plus play a central role in promoting projects that offer support in the areas of asylum, integration and return. During the funding period 2021 to 2027, the focus is on strengthening the common European asylum system and combating irregular migration. bpb.de describes various measures that are intended to improve the life situation of disadvantaged groups, including programs for social integration and educational opportunities for migrants, children and adolescents.
In addition, there are various foundations and initiatives that work locally and regionally and enable numerous projects to support refugees. In summary, it can be said that the planned workshops in Tempelhof-Schöneberg not only offer a valuable opportunity for further training, but are also part of a more comprehensive approach that aims to successfully integrate migrants and refugees in Germany.
