Celebration for the 25th anniversary of the Manfred Bofinger library

On Saturday, September 14, 2024, a very special event will be celebrated in the Manfred Bofinger library in Alt-Treptow: the 25th birthday of the library and the entire youth culture center, including the neighborhood club in the Gérard Philipe. District Councilor Marco Brauchmann invited to this occasion, and preparations are already in full swing.

The anniversary celebration promises an exciting program for young and old. From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. the library is open to welcome its visitors. A special highlight is performed at 3:00 p.m.: The Scuraluna shadow theater shows the enchanting piece "The small caterpillar pulls out". This event is supported by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe from the KIA program, which not only enriches the cultural scene in Berlin, but also promotes child animation.

In addition to the theater performances, a number of other activities are offered. A book junk enables visitors to browse through a variety of book offers and maybe make one or two bargains. For younger guests there is the opportunity to experiment with the interactive game Cubetto in the Makerspace. This game playfully promotes children's programming knowledge and makes learning an entertaining experience.
