The goal is to achieve as many players in football as possible and activate it for environmentally conscious behavior. The focus is on the areas of mobility, catering, circular economy and energy.
Sky is also involved as a media partner of the environmentally conscious finals for the protection of the environment and a sustainable handling of resources. The production of the final is therefore carried out in a climate -friendly manner and is certified with the Green Motion Label. The label was introduced in 2022 as a sustainability label for German cinema, TV and online/VoD productions and is based on 22 ecological criteria such as the use of green electricity and LED light, waste separation on site and the recording and analysis of CO2 emissions.
Charly Classen, head of sports at Sky Germany, emphasized the importance of environmental protection and the sustainable handling of resources.
