Colorful book worlds: Tulipan Verlag inspires in the Philipp-Schaeffer library!

On October 6, 2025, the publisher's presentation of the Tulipan Verlags in the Philipp-Schaeffer library in Berlin. This event runs until November 29, 2025 and promises to present a large number of children's books from the publisher's program, which was founded in Berlin in 2006 and has also maintained an office in the capital since 2017.

District Mayor Stefanie Remlinger will open the event that focuses on special topics and appealing illustrations in books for children. The works on display include picture, reading and cardboard pictures books as well as children's novels. Visitors can borrow second copies, while the exhibition copies remain in the library's existence.

The Philipp-Schaeffer library is located at Brunnenstraße 181, 10119 Berlin. The library is open from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interested parties can easily reach the library with the U8 subway line (Rosenthaler Platz stop), the Tram lines M1, M8, 12 or by bus 240. Municipal Capital: Action Days of the Galleries

In addition to the publisher's presentation, the “municipal capital” will be held from October 16 to 19, 2025. These campaign days include over 150 artists and offer exhibition tours, performances and workshops. The aim of this event is to emphasize the relevance of the municipal galleries, especially with regard to the austerity measures in the cultural sector.

A highlight of the campaign days will be a panel discussion on October 16, at which prominent guests such as Ingo Arend, Leonie Baumann and Dr. Thomas Köhler will take part. A concert in the Bärenzwinger Berlin on October 18 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. with the women's band Angela Ordu & Free Spiritz, which plays Afrobeat, reggae and blues, will round off the event.

Art tours and registration

On October 19, there will be cross -district art tours, each of which will take about four hours. All interested parties can register for the free art tours at mail@kgberlin.net by October 12th. These campaign days are supported by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion.
