On the evening of October 20, 2025, there was a serious clash between two groups in Berlin-Mitte, which resulted in several injuries. Arrests and investigation
In connection with the altercation, a 14-year-old and two men aged 19 and 20 were temporarily arrested, but were released after their identities were established. The young person was handed over to the care of the children's emergency service. During the entire operation, the police were unable to find any possible murder weapons or tools at the crime scene or in the surrounding area, and the exact background to the altercation remains unclear. Investigations by the specialist police department of Police Directorate 1 (North) were initiated to clarify further details.
The situation is reminiscent of a similar incident in the same region, which also involved stabbings.
