Policewoman injured during arrest in Friedrichshain – stone throwing causes chaos
A dramatic argument in Friedrichshain last night resulted in injuries to a police officer! At around 8:30 p.m., the police were called to Pettenkofer Strasse, where a 48-year-old attacked a 21-year-old with a stone and injured his ankle. When he tried to arrest the attacker, he resisted violently and injured the policewoman's hand.
The emergency services were forced to threaten to use a distance electrical impulse device against the 48-year-old. The injured man, who suffered pain as a result of the stone being thrown, initially did not want to seek medical treatment. The perpetrator was eventually taken into custody but was released this morning. The incident raises questions and the investigation is in full swing!
