The Landsberger Allee in Berlin is an important traffic road in the east of the city. For some time now, construction for the so -called "Marzahner Knot", which affects the intersection of Landsberger Allee with the Märkische Allee and the associated track systems of Deutsche Bahn. In the course of this construction work, a total of seven full closures of Landsberger Allee have been announced.
The first construction phase that lies between the Pyramidenring junction and the connection Frank-Schweitzer-Straße was implemented as planned. Here three side -side bridge structures were broken off and rebuilt. The measure became necessary because the bridge structures and the lanes were in poor condition and no longer fulfilled today's mobility requirements.
The construction work should continue by the end of 2029 and the existing traffic relationships are largely maintained. The effects on rail traffic should be reduced to a minimum by only making necessary route closures. Pedestrians and cyclists are not affected by the closures.
The full closures of the Landsberger Allee are planned for the assembly of finished parts and the structure of a crane. Fortunately, these full closures should largely take place at night hours and only partially affect the morning rush hour. Drivers who rely on their vehicles are expected to handle the closures.
The first full closure of Landsberger Allee takes place in the night from Friday to Saturday, starting at 8 p.m. to the next morning at 8 a.m. Further full closures are planned for the nights from August 1st to August 2nd to August 2nd and from 3rd to August 4th, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
After a break in August, two more night closures will be planned in September: from 13th to 14th and 15th to September 16th. The last full closure is planned for the night from November 13th to 14th, 2023.
The construction work mentioned is part of the extensive “Marzahner Knot” construction project and are intended to improve the traffic situation in this area. Drivers should adapt to possible traffic disruptions and consider alternative routes.
