Current traffic information for the A4 and A71
The Autobahn GmbH of the federal government has issued a press release today in which it informs about current traffic information for the A4 and A71. The measures concern the Gotha-Boxberg junction on the A4 as well as the Rennsteig Tunnel and the Tunnel Alte Burg on the A71.
on the A4, the Gotha-Boxberg junction will be blocked in the direction of Görlitz from June 10, 2024 to August 31, 2024, as road ranks are carried out there. In the period from June 10th to June 24th and from July 5th to August 31st, traffic via the Gotha-Boxberg junction in the direction of Aachen is run and must contact the Waltershausen junction to get back in the direction of Görlitz. From June 24th to July 5th, traffic will be redirected via the subordinate network to the Waltershausen junction.
Traffic traffic will be led to the Gotha junction from June 10th to June 24th and from July 5th to August 31st. From June 24th to July 5th, traffic will be returned from the Gotha junction via the subordinate network.
on the A71, the Rennsteig Tunnel and the Alte Castle on the Sangerhausen directional lane are completely closed due to maintenance work on the A71 due to maintenance work. Road users in the direction of Sangerhausen will be led from the Oberhof junction via the U11 needs forwarder to the Gräfenroda junction. In both nights from June 12, 2024 to June 14, 2024, the Rennsteig Tunnel and the old castle tunnel are also completely closed on the Schweinfurt directional lane. Road users in the direction of Schweinfurt are led to the Oberhof junction from the Gräfenroda junction via the U36 requirements.
