Learning laboratory Energie Berlin: an extra -curricular learning location for renewable energies.

according to a report by www.berlin.de Existing the learning laboratory Energy at the Grünauer Community School. The former heating house was ceremoniously opened on November 29, 2018 after the energetic renovation by the association and has since been interested in the highly complex topic of renewable energies in terms of age in Berlin school classes, but also in adults and sustainability.

As a citizen of Berlin, I am proud that an institution like TJP e.V. is active in our city and is committed to education and sensitization in the field of renewable energies. The conversion of the old coal heating house to a learning laboratory for energy is an outstanding example of sustainable urban development and educational funding.

The partner search, planning and conversion of the building were supported by many actors from the economy, civil engineers, students of HTW Berlin and employees of TJP e.V. and trainees of the upper level center construction technology. This shows the commitment and cooperation for a non -profit project that is of great importance both locally and in terms of renewable energies and sustainability.

The use of natural and sustainable materials in energetic renovation, such as thermo yute, thermohanf, clay and wood, is an important contribution to sustainable construction and awareness of the use of renewable energies. In addition, the learning laboratory helps to make the complex topic understandable for pupils and is therefore a valuable resource for education and sensitization in the field of renewable energies.

The creation of school AGs and other projects in the learning laboratory of Energie as well as the possibility of international exchange and other school-related events in the rooms of the laboratory show that the place is important not only for pupils, but also for the entire community. It is gratifying to see that the learning laboratory of energy not only enables education, but also sustainable events and events and thus creates added value for the entire city.
