DKLB Foundation supports people in need with € 100,000 annually
The German Class Lottery Berlin (DKLB) has undertaken to help people in need in border and hardship cases by providing the State of Berlin annually a grant of € 100,000.00. These funds that come from the DKLB Foundation should enable financial support for people in an acute emergency, especially for those affected by disabilities and illness. In 2024 Treptow-Köpenick are available.
The funds can be used for various border and hardship cases that must be observed in the application. This includes low incomes, no self -help options and no claim to benefits for social service providers or other jobs. In addition, current acute hardship situations that are to be remedied immediately can be taken into account.
A concrete example shows how these funds are used. Mr. Betkerowitz received a notice of grant over 400 euros for new glasses, which could be approved by the DKLB Foundation. The check was handed over by Carolin Weingart, the district councilor for social affairs, health, work and participation. She emphasized the importance of such aid programs, especially for those who urgently need support. The close cooperation between the DKLB Foundation and the Office for Social Affairs ensures a fair distribution of the benefits to those who need the most urgent.
For the application for financial support in border and hardship cases, interested parties can send their informal application to Carolin Weingart, district councilor for social issues, health, work and participation.
