Invitation to conversation: Inclusion in the educational and cultural sector - space for everyone?
The advisory board of and for people with disabilities invites you to a reading and a conversation as part of the Disability Pride Month. The event is intended to create a space to discuss inclusion and reflect on how it can be implemented in various areas such as education and culture. Questions are asked about the role of inclusion in a social landscape that sets both democratic values and borders in the name of human rights. The meaning of inclusive rooms that are open and anti -discriminatory for everyone is also examined, as well as the perspectives of marginalized people and the way their content can be transported.
In terms of local effects, one could mention how the discussion about inclusion in the region is conducted and what measures have already been taken to create structures. Historical facts could, for example, refer to past efforts to include inclusion and the development of legal framework conditions for people with disabilities.
In order to illustrate the different perspectives on the topic of inclusion, a table with information on various aspects of inclusion could be created, such as political measures, educational content or cultural events.
The event of the Advisory Board of and for People with Disabilities offers an opportunity to deal with important questions about inclusion and make a contribution to a more inclusive society.
