Silent vigil in Hanover: A sign against factory farming

Silent vigil in Hanover: A sign against factory farming

On Saturday, September 28th, the Kröpcke in Hanover becomes the scene of a huge sign of compassion! Around 30 passionate activists from the Albert Schweitzer Foundation for our fellow worlds stand up to draw attention to the cruel truth of factory farming with a powerful "quiet vigil". Over 750 million animals suffer in Germany every year - for meat, milk and eggs. Time for an outcry!

In an impressive "Silent Line", the activists will present urgent pictures of pigs, cattle, chickens, rabbits and even fish. Each of these pictures tells a terrifying story of animal suffering and exploitation, which is often ignored in everyday life. Passant: Inside, you have the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and maybe question your own beliefs. A welcome commitment for everyone who wants to get up against daily animal suffering!

Support the movement and show that a rethink is necessary in Germany! The reality of factory farming is unbearable: mast chickens that collapse under their own weight, prison, which are held in cages, and dairy cows, the calves of which they are immediately taken away - this must not remain hidden!

Scientific knowledge speaks a clear language: a balanced diet is possible without excessive consumption of animal products and better for humans, animals and the environment. The activists on the Kröpcke are committed to raising awareness and presenting alternatives.

The Albert Schweitzer Foundation is fighting at the forefront against factory farming and for a vegan lifestyle. Through legal means and influence on politics and business, you will act for necessary improvements in animal welfare. You can find out more about your important campaigns on your website!
