Kevin Kühnert, the Secretary General of the SPD, celebrates a huge success: The “Chancellor's Party” conquers the state election in Brandenburg with fresh wind! In an interview with Phoenix, Kühnert beams with pride. "This is an encouragement to the whole party, which was done there yesterday," he emphasizes.
But the mood could not look more contrary for the CDU! Her "Chancellor candidate in Spe" suffers a crashing defeat that is anything but calming for the party. Kühnert leaves no doubt that the SPD now wants to implement "open projects from the coalition agreement such as the pension package and the tariff loyalty law".
