Anniversary: 65 years of town twinning Asnières-sur-Seine-Spandau
The longstanding friendship between the city of Asnières-sur-Seine and the Spandau district is celebrated this year. The city partnership has existed between the two cities since 1959 and this anniversary is to be celebrated. On May 9, 2024, a ceremony will therefore take place in the Gothic hall of the Spandau citadel. On this special occasion, a delegation from the French partner city is expected, consisting of the deputy mayor Barbara Treutenaere, the chairman of the French partnership association Fabian Bürger and other members. Anniversary: 65 years of town twinning Asnières-sur-Seine-Spandau
The long-term friendship between the city of Asnières-sur-Seine and the Spandau district is celebrated this year. The city partnership has existed between the two cities since 1959 and this anniversary is to be celebrated.
On May 9, 2024, a ceremony will therefore take place in the Gothic hall of the Spandau citadel. On this special occasion, a delegation from the French partner city is expected, consisting of the deputy mayor Barbara Treutenaere, the chairman of the French partnership association Fabian Bürger and other members.
Highlights of the evening will be speeches by district mayor Frank Luinde and the Spandau partnership association. In addition, the French pianist David Zouzout will give a concert and there will be an entry in the Golden Book of Spandaus.
The ceremony is organized by the district office Spandau in cooperation with the Spandauer partnership association in order to duly appreciate the long-term relationship between Asnières-sur-Seine and Spandau.
