ShiftMove, which emerged in 2023 from the powerful association of the market leaders Avrios and Vimcar, is now expanding to France with full force. For Optimum Automotive, based in the sunny state Aix-en-Provence, this deal means nothing less than the jump to a new era. "Our product portfolios complement each other perfectly and offer our 18,000 joint fleet customers an unbeatable offer," enthuses Daniel Vassallucci, CEO and founder of Optimum. The two companies now employ more than 350 employees and look after over 550,000 vehicles. A power package that will mix up the industry!
What does that mean for the future? The pressure in the traffic sector not only grows, but it also becomes the driving engine for innovations. "Fleets are considered to be driving power of new technologies," explains Gervazio. While many private vehicles are only exchanged on average in eleven years, this happens in the fleet after three to four years - a golden opportunity for electromobility!
