Desired tree campaign in Reinickendorf: 250 children's dreams are waiting for fulfillment

The Christmas magic has arrived in Reinickendorf! This afternoon the club "Give a smile e.V." And district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) really out in the town hall-because the glossy desired tree campaign 2024 was started! Children from various facilities for child and youth welfare have made their wish lists for Santa Claus with a lot of love. And now? The colorful stars with the wishes await the desire until December 13th in the foyer of the town hall for generous helpers!

"It is simply touching to see so many children's requests in front of you," enthused the district mayor. "We support this wonderful action from the heart and hope that numerous Reinickendorfer participants participate and conjure up a beam in the face for Christmas as many children as possible. 250 shiny wishes are ready to be fulfilled!"

How to help!

And now comes the highlight! Gift sponsors have the option of "picking" a wish from the leash anonymously. The following applies: each request may cost a maximum of 25 euros! The children are only described by first names and age to protect their privacy. The gifts, which should be unpacked by the way, can be handed in in the Reinickendorf town hall by December 13th - at the main entrance of the new building at the gateists.

"The situation for Berlin families has become more and more difficult in recent years, so it is all the more beautiful that more citizens are committed to this campaign this year," says club chairman Fayez Gilke. "Thanks to this great use of the Reinickendorfer, we become an incredible goal: to put a smile on the face of the 7,000 children for Christmas!"
