"Loneliness as a social phenomenon: Reinickendorf's new measures"

In a previously unique Initiative, the Reinickendorf district office created the first municipal full -time position of a loneliness officer. Katharina Schulz plays this important role, while she also works as a district volunteer. To support you, a clerk will work at your side.

The decision to fill it was made due to the elimination of the previous loneliness officers at the end of the month. This is to ensure that all ongoing projects on the subject of loneliness are continuously continued. A special highlight will be the upcoming loneliness summit on December 16, to which the district is already working intensively.

Another measure to combat loneliness are the new "Quasseltreff benches", which will be set up on July 11 at the Greenwich promenade and on Kolpingplatz. These invite you to talk and promote encounters. Detailed reporting on this topic will follow.
