A call to all flower lovers and nature lovers in Reinickendorf! On Monday, November 11, 2024, it says again: "Run to the earth!" The district councilor for order, environment and transport, Julia Schrod-Thiel (CDU), is looking forward to inviting the citizens to the magnificent planting campaign!

At 12 p.m. we start at the village center in Alt-Reinickendorf! Two hours later, at 2 p.m., the plants on the village center in Alt-Wittenau will continue. This is the opportunity to get involved under the motto "blooming diversity" and to breathe new life into public green spaces.

A total of 2,000 flower bulbs - a colorfully mixed selection of tulips and daffodils - are to be brought into the ground. These colorful flowers will develop a wonderful “sea of ​​flowers” ​​in the coming months and ensure that Reinickendorf blooms!

Everyone can participate - whether families, schools, clubs or the neighborhood! "With every bulb we plant together, we set a sign of connection with our district. Everyone has the chance to be part of this colorful initiative to make Reinickendorf shine!" explains Schrod-Thiel.
