Specialist day Aging in Diversity in Reinickendorf: Bridge to migration societies
The district mayor of Reinickendorf, Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU), plans to organize the first specialist day "Aging in Diversity in Reinickendorf- Perspectives of Health and Care structures in the migration society" on June 24. This specialist day is aimed at specialists and interested parties from the Reinickendorf district and is intended to provide impulses through practical examples. The demographic changes make it clear that the population of Reinickendorf becomes older and more diverse. Therefore, one would like to prepare for this development and enable people in the migration society to become good.
older people have similar needs regardless of their origin: they want to stay healthy and active and participate in social life. In older people with migration history, however, specific requirements and questions, for example access barriers, face the system of geriatric care and the design of health and care services. The specialist day should serve to discuss these topics and to serve as a process of a process of migration and cultural-sensitive opening of the health and care structures in Reinickendorf.
Please register for the specialist day by June 16 by email to integrationsbuero@reinickendorf.berlin.de. The specialist day will take place on June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Hermann-Ehles-Haus (Alt-Wittenau 71, 13437 Berlin) and is aimed at specialists in elderly help, administration and civil society.
