Successful participants in the regional competition youth music in Reinickendorf

This year's participation of the Reinickendorf music school in the Berlin-Brandenburg regional competition "Jugend musiziert" was extremely successful. A total of 14 soloists took part in various instruments, including wood and brass instruments, guitar and mandolin, as well as five duos made of violin or viola and piano as well as on the piano. Five soloists and three duos were successfully forwarded to the state competitions, which will take place from March 14 to 17, 2024 at the University of the Arts Berlin and in Cottbus.

The award-winning concerts will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the Fontane-Haus in Berlin Reinickendorf and on Sunday, March 3. at 11 a.m. in the Spandau Citadel. Both events are public and admission is free. The Reinickendorf music school intensively supported and prepared its participants. A total of 17 teachers of the music school have successfully trained the soloists, and ten other teachers have taken on the difficult task of jury work.

The City Councilor Harald Muschner (CDU) is happy about the success of the music school and emphasizes the important role of the teachers and jury members in preparing the participants. The award-winning concert in Reinickendorf will take place on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 4 p.m. in the Fontane-Haus. All interested parties are cordially invited to listen to the talented young musicians at their performances.
