BSR Kieztag: Free disposal and exchange in Berlin-Wittenau
On Monday, June 10, 2024, the district office Reinickendorf will organize a neighborhood day in cooperation with the Berlin city cleaning (BSR). The event takes place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Wendehammer of the Rosententreter promenade in 13437 Berlin-Wittenau.
During this neighborhood day, private households have the opportunity to dispose of bulky waste, electrical devices and old textiles free of charge. The district councilor Julia Schrod-Thiel points out that materials such as paints, colors, insulation materials or car tires cannot be accepted. In the rose treter promenade, an integrated exchange and gift market is also offered, in which unused items can be handed over, exchanged or new treasures can be discovered. This promotes urban soil and sustainability idea by finding discarded things a new owner and the life cycle of the objects is extended. The Reinickendorf regulatory office will also be on site with an information stand to answer questions.
The neighborhood day is a great initiative that helps protect the environment and improve the quality of life in the city. By properly disposing of their waste and reusing unused objects, they make an important contribution to sustainability.
