Particularly noteworthy are the “Potsdam light stars”, which are used as an identity-creating element. The main locations of the market are Luisenplatz and Bassinplatz, with Brandenburger Straße also being festively staged with special lighting elements. Luisenplatz is illuminated, among other things, by festively staged fountains and a large Christmas tree. Visual highlights, such as the colored illumination of the Brandenburg Gate and a glowing carriage, complement the overall picture.

Two permanently installed stages are planned for the cultural performances. These will provide a platform for local choirs, dance groups and professional artists.
