Playmobil works of art auction: 25,000 euros for children in need

In a grand train for the good cause, the first Playmobil Kunst Benefiz campaign achieved an incredible result! Ten unique large figures that were created on a creative high flight were sold for more than 25,000 euros at an exciting auction on Ebay!

But what is behind this exciting event? The worldwide organization Save the Children, which helps in about 120 countries and is committed to the rights of children, benefits from the entire revenue of this campaign. The sizes of the figures, each 1.50 meters high, were a true feast for the eyes and attracted enormous attention until shortly before the auction end. These spectacular works of art had their glamorous appearance in the "leg -ghunted. Gallery" in Berlin, where a captivating vernissage caused a sensation.

a truly creative team

The artists involved were answering the collectors and interested parties on social media and offered exciting insights into their creative process. "We are very grateful to Playmobil and Hikmet Sugoer, who had the idea for this great action," said Florian Westphal, Managing Director of Save the Children Germany. "With the auction proceeds, we support our emergency aid fund, which enables us to act quickly and flexibly to help children in need - no matter where they are."

This generous initiative shows how you not only create joy with art and creativity, but also do good. Bahri Kurter, board member of Playmobil, added: "The positive response to the large characters is overwhelming! They stimulate the imagination and show what limitless possibilities offer playmobil - in the game and beyond."

Every purchase of these extraordinary characters supports the important work of Save the Children and ensures that children worldwide get the help they urgently need. A big step into a better future!
