generations in conflict: young against old
The gap between the generations becomes visible when the discussion between generation Z and baby boomers is sparked. The old enjoy their well -deserved retirement, while the boys feel cheated - due to rising rents, exploding real estate prices and a future that is full of crises. In the first episode, Ben Bode meets the carpenter and influencer Isabelle Vivianne , born in 1996. She has the courage to found her own workshop and is convinced: "The Boomers have reached a lot, but now they simply withdraw and let us, the boys, with the problems alone!"
On the other hand, Daniel Goffart , born 1961. The journalist and lawyer is disappointed with the younger generation: "Generation Z is sitting on the prosperity that we have developed, and instead discusses gender and gender variety!" Here it becomes clear that the opinions collide and the need for discussion is enormous!
The dispute over the car: freedom or danger?
In the second episode, everything revolves around the car - once the loved one of the Germans, today an object of bitter disputes. For some it is the symbol of freedom and progress, for others a terrible annoyance. Ben Bode meets Anna Baatz , born in 1996, which is determined to banish cars from Berlin and create the largest car -free zone in the world! A radical plan that makes you listen!
But there are also word battles in the camp of car lovers: Hanna Schönwald , born in 1995, designer and car enthusiast, is passionate about her machines. She explains: "Cars are not only my job, they are also my art!" And so the paths of the two opponents cross on the street, which inevitably leads to a lively debate!
Both episodes are offered with subtitles - i.e. switch on and discuss!
