The new documentary series "The women's sauna-damn menopause!" of the Berlin-Brandenburg Radio (RBB) from October 18 at the ARD media library, which is really behind this phase of life. It is not beautified here, there is no look away here! Instead, four brave women are in focus who drop the covers in the sauna - not only physically, but also emotional.

What happens when Bettina, Heike, Nicole and Jacqueline meet in the hot steam bath? In this blazing talent group, which takes place between Berlin, Hamburg and Hanover, the women do not take a leaf out of their mouths. With taboo conversations about hot flashes, sleep disorders and mood swings, they describe their very personal experiences.

Personal trainer Heike (53) from Berlin fights with joint pain and changes her diet, while Nicole (54) finally overcomes her party neurosis from the vicinity of Hanover and follows new life goals, including the desire to quit smoking and find a new partner.
