The weekend on July 13th and 14th, 2024 promises to become a festival of international garden art and culture in the world's gardens in Berlin. Under the motto "Culture meets Garden", the park is all about the diversity of the cultures represented, which can be experienced with traditions, music, dance and culinary specialties.
A special highlight is the unveiling of a 3.80 meter size Moai statue, a replica of the famous stone giants from the Easter Island. This sculpture, which represents ancestors, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and will be solemnly unveiled next to the Chilean garden cabinet on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
Another cultural highlight awaits visitors on Saturday from 7:00 p.m.: The winter garden Varieté presents a colorful show on the large arena stage. With music, dance and acrobatics, the audience is kidnapped into a world full of glamor and entertainment.
In addition to the artistic performances, the festival offers a varied program for young and old. From taster courses in traditional craft methods to creative workshops and musical performances from all over the world, there is something for every taste.
