Criticism of KHVVG: AOK demands real improvements for insured persons

berlin once again spoke and the waves hit up! The negotiations between the Federal Ministry of Health and the so-called traffic lights have brought a result that many lets in the healthcare industry shout!

dr. In her first reaction, Carola Reimann, the CEO of the AOK Federal Association, expresses massive concerns about the results of the Hospital Insurance Act (KHVVVG). What came on the table cannot be described differently than painful mogue packs! "The 50 amendments to around 100 extras pages are a kind of improvement, but real improvements for the insured and the employees have failed to materialize," explains Reimann in a clear and haunting tone.

no binding regulations!

The appeal to private health insurance to voluntarily participate in the costs of the transformation fund is dismissed by Reimann as completely inadequate. "A binding regulation is required for a fairer load compensation here," she says vehemently. Instead of a conclusive plan, those affected are waiting for a solution again that seems to be a long way off!

And it gets worse: the entry into the urgently needed case -independent preservation financing is postponed indefinitely! Experts who took a position on the Health Committee had long since asked for this. But instead of finally becoming active, politics announces a lengthy evaluation - that sounds more like an excuse!

semi -hearted outpatient female

The outpatient clinic plans that are so often conjured up seem to be put in the sand! For Reimann, they are far too expensive and far too little geared towards the actual patient needs. "Despite all the accommodation for the federal states, the approval of this legislative package remains questionable," she warns and warns for a hurry!

The risk that the financial burdens for insured persons and employers will continue to increase is increasing. "This is by no means good news for statutory health insurance and their insured!", Scolds Reimann and leaves no doubt that there is a need for action here!

While the negotiations continue in the back room, the question remains: will the mediation committee between the federal and state council actually convene? If so, then the entire game could make a lot more complicated! Those affected, on the other hand, are waiting for clarity - but it seems a long way off. Berlin, when do you finally incorporate the pressing problems?
