Smart minds 60+ in Berlin: everyday tips for a better life!
On August 14, 2025, the Maria Rimkus House in Berlin will announce a new course aimed at older people. The course entitled “Clear & Strong – Everyday Tips for Smart Minds 60+” aims to provide everyday information and practical tips. Topics such as memory training, nutrition and safety in everyday life are addressed in order to improve the quality of life of the participants.
The course starts on September 5, 2025 and lasts eight weeks. The weekly sessions take place on Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and cost €4.00 per person. Under the leadership of Ms. Heiler, the participants also receive valuable ideas on topics such as fraud protection and affordable shopping options.
Additional language courses on offer
For anyone interested in the Italian language, the Maria Rimkus House also offers two courses. The basic course for beginners teaches the basics of the Italian language at a leisurely pace, including vocabulary and grammar. This course also starts in September and takes place on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The cost is €6.00 per unit and the management is the responsibility of Ms. Sale.
A course for advanced students is also offered, which is based on the textbook “Buongiorno A1, A2”. Here participants can deepen their knowledge at level A2 (basic level 2), with the prerequisite being that they have previously taken part in the A1 course. These sessions are scheduled on Tuesdays from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., also at a cost of €6.00 per session.
