Indian playground in Heiligensee: Dog drop bags distributed on play equipment - cleaning work completed
cleaning measures completed on the Indian playground
After an unpleasant incident on the Indian playground in the Büsumer Pfad/Rundhofer path in Heiligensee, extensive cleaning measures were completed. Unknowns had distributed between 20 to 30 filled dog decorative bags and their contents on various play equipment for children up to six years.
Fortunately, the majority of the dog droppings bags could be removed without any problems. However, due to the strong pollution, the nest basket swing had to be transported to the workshop, where it was thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. After a complex cleaning process, the nest basket swing will be available for the children again today.
A group of workers from the street and green space office has invested a total of five hours to completely clean the play equipment and prepare for the use of the children. The final cleaning work on the workshop and the assembly and disassembly of the nest basket swing were carried out carefully.
The Indian playground is now accessible to the public after all cleaning and disinfection work. District Councilor Julia Schrod-Thiel (CDU) emphasized the importance of a clean and safe environment for children and called for information on the incident to share the street and green space office.
