Hertha BSC: Contracts of Weber and Neuendorf extended by 2027

In a spectacular commitment to the future, Hertha BSC has extended the contracts with two of the club's most important minds! Sports director Benjamin Weber and the director for academy & license player area, 'Teck' Neuendorf, remain on board by 2027 and thus set a strong sign of continuity and stability in the capital city club. This decision is not only a good news for the fans, but also a confirmation of the trust that the management has in the two officials!

"These ladies and gentlemen took over the sporting management during a turbulent phase and did an extraordinary! Under enormous pressure, they have put together a squad that makes the hearts of Herthaner beat faster," explains Managing Director Thomas E. Herrich. The integration of young talents from their own academy, which have received a unique perspective through the work of Weber and Neuendorf, is particularly impressive.

"The past two years have been intense and demanding, but we always worked in the team and never lost the belief in our goals," says Benjamin Weber with confidence. He thanks himself for the immense trust and sees the common path as an exciting challenge that is to be tackled with full energy. Together with his partner Neuendorf, he wants to give everything in men's, women and young football!

"It is not a matter of course that a traditional club like Hertha BSC works as closely between the academy and professional sector. We are proud of that!" Complemented 'tick' Neuendorf.
