Large member survey: Lichtenberg starts telephone campaign!
On October 31, 2025, a significant telephone survey will begin in the Berlin district of Lichtenberg, which aims to record the interests, ideas and wishes of the members of the district association. The initiative comes from an extensive discussion about the future direction of the party, which opens with a kick-off event. Not only should technical details and the process of the survey be explained, but initial tasks should also be distributed and telephone shifts filled. Registration for the event can be done via the Zetkin app or directly by email to ehmi.blessmann@die-linke-lichtenberg.de. People who cannot attend on November 6th are also invited to contact Ehmi. The survey is aimed particularly at upcoming callers and committed organizers.
The telephone campaign is an important step towards strengthening member participation and is intended to paint a comprehensive picture of the needs of the comrades. At a time when political discussions are often polarized, this survey offers an opportunity to promote and deepen dialogue within the district association. The Left Berlin points out that, above all, the connection between the party leadership and the members can be strengthened through such measures.
Interest in participating
The campaign invites all interested members to actively participate. The organizers are particularly looking for people who enjoy making phone calls or who would like to take on organizational tasks. This initiative not only allows those involved to contribute their own opinions and ideas, but also promotes a stronger sense of community within the association.
Another aspect of the commitment is the opportunity to take part in the event on November 6, 2025. Here the comrades will receive detailed information on how to conduct the survey and have the chance to directly influence the campaign planning. This open invitation to participate is a sign of the active and inclusive attitude of the district association of Die Linke.
Additional insights into environmental research
Parallel to the political movement, there is also a strong interest in environmentally friendly practices, particularly in the care of plants such as azaleas. These popular, evergreen shrubs belong to the Rhododendron genus and are a valuable addition to many garden lovers. Loud Gardening know-how Most azaleas bloom in the spring, while Encore azaleas bloom several times in the summer, but not as profusely. Proper fertilization is crucial for the growth of these plants. Organic fertilizers, such as fish meal or worm castings, are particularly beneficial, while chemical fertilizers should be specifically formulated for acidophilic plants.
Proper mulching with materials such as composted pine bark can help reduce plants' nutrient needs and improve their health. Organic solutions such as iron deficiency can be treated with ferrous sulfate to support healthy plant development. This closeness to nature reflects the growing environmental awareness within society, which is also becoming increasingly apparent in political discourse.
Cultural Sensitivities in Films
Finally, there has recently been a discussion about cultural sensitivity in films, particularly sports films. The film, seen by a section of a rugby club, is not considered an outstanding rugby film, but it deserves its place in the field of sports films. Critical voices from the community point out that it is questionable whether New Zealand viewers would be satisfied with the film, particularly due to a questionable depiction of the haka. These cultural considerations are important to ensure that representations in the media landscape are respectful and accurate. The film is considered worthwhile, especially because of the tension and climaxes of the final game. IMDb offers further interesting reviews.
