Win the right minds for the veterinary practice: career orientation at veterinarians and TFA

How do we win the right minds for the veterinary practice? An important key is in the career choice. That is why the entire veterinary industry has great interest that there is a realistic picture of the veterinarian and TFA profession in public and especially young people in the professional orientation phase. In order to promote this, the Federal Association of Practicing Veterinarians (BPT) now has the possibility of an interesting pilot project.

The Berlin Mitte agency and the BPT are aimed at their offer to parents whose children are interested in the veterinarian or want to become veterinary assistants. As part of the “Week of Training”, a digital parents' evening will take place on Tuesday, March 12th at 7 p.m., in which experienced professionals from veterinary medicine will realistically represent various professional fields. The usual clichés of relevant television formats should be explicitly dispensed with.

dr. Michael Kreher will give an insight into modern farm animal practice, while Dr. Janine Kröll gives an insight into the work of a small animal practice. Friedrich Rosenthal, a member of the Junge BPT network, will report from his studies and give tips on starting your career. Carolin Bauditz will inform about the eventful everyday life of a veterinary specialist.

The idea for using this option was developed last summer when talking to BA boss Andrea Nahles, which was organized by the Federal Association of Free Professions.
