Fürth student triumphs foreign languages in the BLOSSEN at the federal competition

An event that moves the language world! niklas Pfeuffer, the dynamic student from Fürth, has achieved a captivating victory in the speech tournament of the federal competition in Blossin (Brandenburg)! Over 2,000 participants went into the race, but only one could bear the title as the best language artist - and that is our hero: Niklas!

With his great talent in Spanish and French, the 11th grader not only gained a scholarship for a prestigious seminar of the International Student Leadership Institute in Oberwesel, but also a prize money of 300 euros! Such a size award ceremonies attract attention and offer countless opportunities for the future stars of language art. Madness!

The glamorous award winners of the competition

A total of 62 students made it to the final. These linguistic champions demonstrated their skills in different languages - including English, French, Spanish, Italian, Latin and ancient Greek. They had to convince the strict jury of their skills in creative, multilingual plays and presentations.

Brandenburg's Minister of Education, Steffen Freiberg, was on site as the patron of the event and did not miss the opportunity to congratulate the award winners: "I congratulate all award winners in the language tournament! Foreign languages are the goals for our world. You have the keys in your hand. Keep it up!" His enthusiasm was noticeable!

The Federal Competition of Foreign Languages is aimed at pupils in grades 6 to 13 and trainees. The aim is to arouse curiosity about foreign cultures and languages, and to promote fun and creativity. Every year, around 15,000 young people who are ready to prove their linguistic talents. Interested parties can register for the 2024/2025 competition by October 6, 2024.
