Der neugestaltete Quartierspark an der Ritterstraße Ecke Lobeckstraße wurde nach knapp zweijähriger Bauzeit wiedereröffnet. Die rund 7.900 Quadratmeter große Grünfläche wurde grundhaft erneuert, um einen Ort der Erholung und Freizeitgestaltung für alle Altersgruppen zu schaffen. Annika Gerold, Bezirksstadträtin für Verkehr, Grünflächen, Ordnung und Umwelt, betonte die Bedeutung des Parks für die Anwohner und lobte die Bemühungen aller Beteiligten, die diesen Ort geschaffen haben. Die Planung des Quartiersparks beruhte auf grundlegenden Wünschen und Anforderungen der Anwohner, die im Rahmen von Gesprächen und Beteiligungsveranstaltungen ermittelt wurden. The redesigned district park on Ritterstraße corner Lobeckstrasse was reopened after almost two years of construction. The approximately 7,900 square meter green area was fundamentally renewed to create a place of relaxation and leisure activities for all age groups. The planning of the neighborhood park was based on fundamental wishes and requirements of the residents, which were determined as part of discussions and participation events. The result is a versatile park with playgrounds, seating, a community fountain and various activity options for all age groups.

The costs for the redesign amount to 2.13 million euros and were financed from the Berlin program for sustainable development. The park fulfills important functions as a recreation and movement space as well as as a meeting point for the community.
