In a dramatic encounter in Berlin-Gesundbrunnen, the federal police pulled a sought-after man out of circulation on Saturday afternoon. The 26-year-old Afghan not only had an arrest warrant on the neck, but also a considerable amount of drugs as well as cash and a fine scale in his luggage!

It was 3:40 p.m. when the federal police officers accessed at the train station. During a routine control, it turned out that the Berlin public prosecutor had an arrest warrant against the man. The reason? A judgment of the Tiergarten District Court: he was supposed to serve a total of 1,800 euros or 60 days behind bars. But that was by no means everything the police officers discovered!

The drug discovery causes a sensation

The man's search revealed an alarming picture: around 80 grams of drugs in the form of 63 sales units cannabis and hashish. In addition, there was a cash amount of 2,045 euros and a fine scale - all indicators for a possible drug trafficking!

The federal police immediately stepped in and initiated an investigation because there was suspicion of a violation of the Consumer Cannabis Act. All evidence was ensured and the man could not pay the required fine. Which is why the officers immediately handed him over to the Berlin police after completing the measures.
