FC Bayern loses against FC Barcelona: Play-in chances disappear
FC Bayern Munich lost 79:87 against FC Barcelona and the chances of the play-ins are now negligible for the club. With Panathinaikos Athens (3rd place) and AS Monaco (4th place) there are still two heavy games. Nick Weiler-Babb emphasizes that the team has to keep and fight together without giving up. According to the Weiler Babb, a main problem of the season is that they often have to run behind and often get stuck in a hole in the first half of the game. Bavarians in the last games have affected injury -related failures and lack of constancy. Nevertheless, the team has already won the DFB Cup and is now aiming for the championship title in the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). The Euroleague will not go on for Munich, but they still have two games to complete the season positively. Experts have emphasized that Bayern have to break away from Euroleague history and use their strengths. World champion Andreas Obst, who is currently injured, has confidence in his teammates and believes that they can handle the challenges. He also emphasizes that a German championship would be a great success. The remaining games are shown live at Magenta Sport. On Friday there is the game between Alba Berlin and Fenerbahce Istanbul, and on Sunday the second episode of the documentary "The Huddle - Inside FC Bayern" follows exclusively with Magenta Sport.
