It is time to make it clear that "ballots" (ballot paper) and not "bullets" (rifle balls) may be the only remedy in political disputes.

Joe Biden has started with adequate statements after the shots on his opponents. His clear rejection of violence as a means of political discussion and his demand to reduce the "temperature" in America were correct.

Nevertheless, it would have been more sincerely if bids had recognized the part of his own responsibility. Anyone who constantly describes their opponent as the "greatest danger to American democracy" is not innocent in the current situation. That applies all the more to Donald Trump.

In recent years, America has forgotten under Trump, also favored by the dirty spinner on social media, to carry disagreements without hostility. Instead, you should see the other than compatriot, neighbor and fellow citizen who simply thinks differently. Just as an American.

The leaders of both parties in the capital have contributed significantly to this. If every dispute is given up to an existential question and you can no longer manage without terms such as "Apocalypse" and "Armageddon" to describe the possible consequences of political decisions, the actual arguments are lost.

It remains to be seen whether Trump, after his nearby experience, will actually reject his "extremely hard speech" planned for the party conference against the Democrats and instead campaigns for the country's unity.

Trump is known for tactics and lip service. His misconduct is significantly greater than that of Joe Biden, who never came up with the idea of ​​calling a political opponent as a "vermin".
