Urgently required: animal shelter in Schmargendorf is fighting for cat life!
The Schmargendorf cat help in Berlin is in acute need! The non -profit association, which takes care of injured and motherless cats, urgently needs an incubator to ensure weak and hypothermic animals. "Katzenbabies cannot regulate their body temperature myself. I often get the tiny, motherless kittens. That is why the incubator would help a lot," explains club manager Claudia Mang-Fehlberg. The required sum of 1300 euros is a significant challenge for the predominantly privately financed association, as Berlin reports live.
Currently, 13 cats are housed in a private home in the shelter, as well as other animals that are waiting for an adoption. Due to the upcoming throwing time in February and March, the need for support is expected to increase. "It would be great if we had the incubator until then. We are grateful for every donation," continued Mang-Fehlberg. The team, consisting of Mang-Fehlberg and a five-member staff, maintains and mediates cats who are often motherless or in poor condition. The call to support from the community is urgent because the donations are rare and more and more animals are dependent on help, reports Mein-berlin.net.

The situation in the shelter remains tense. Many animals, including the hangover Luki once saved from a box, are looking for a new home, while the demand for adoptive homes is growing steadily. Schmargendorfer Katzenhilfe is tirelessly committed to the needy animals and is dependent on the support of animal lovers. The association not only offers protection, but also rehabilitation for many four -legged friends who are in need. Everyone who wants to help find all the necessary information about the fundraising campaign on the association's website, while Berlin daily newspapers support the initiative.
