On Tuesday, September 23rd and Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, the next action days in the “Neighborhoods, Kiosks, Competencies!” series will take place in the Lietzenseepark in Berlin. instead of. This event, which takes place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., is an important forum for the citizens of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. The focus is on promoting participation and strengthening social cohesion in the neighborhoods.
The action days were launched at the beginning of April 2025 and have the goal of creating meeting places for everyone in the neighborhood. Citizens and local initiatives should come into contact with each other and create opportunities for exchange. The space for participation is the central contact point that establishes the connection between the district administration, local politics and the citizens. The aim is to promote a transparent and effective culture of participation.
Action days and participants
On the first day of the action days, September 23rd, the Cha-Wi Initiative Fritschestraße and the Youth Promotion Region 3, among others, will take part and offer space for discussions and exchange. On the following day, September 24th, in addition to the Fritschestraße initiative, the information telephone of the Silbernetz e.V. project and the SEKIS self-help contact point Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf will be on site. The OUTREACH project “Building bridges for teenagers and young adults in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf” will also be represented.
Various social initiatives are also planned for Wednesday, including the ParkHaus Lietzensee e.V. and the Opportunity Kit project, which offers support to single parents.
Beyond the event
The “Neighborhoods, Kiosks, Competences!” campaign days are not just a one-off event. In total, several events are planned until the end of the year, and a continuation in 2026 is also in the cards. This underlines the desire to establish a continuous and sustainable exchange between citizens, administration and local initiatives.
