opportunities for young talents: The Hans Weisser Scholarship opens international perspectives

The Hans Weisser Foundation and the Foundation of the German Economy (SDW) have launched a large scholarship program that gives young professionals and start-ups the opportunity to gain valuable experience abroad. This program promotes individual learning and further qualification projects in a period of 2 to 12 months, which can begin between April and December 2025. Applications are still up to 15. October 2024 possible.

The scholarship is aimed particularly at people under the age of 40 who have their main residence in Germany. The participants are open to numerous options, from research trips to internships to further qualifications, including study stays that end with a certificate or degree. These options not only offer applicants the opportunity to learn new skills, but also to have a decisive influence on their professional career.

An important aspect of this scholarship is the focus on social benefits. The scholarship holders are encouraged not only to promote their personal and professional development, but also to create sustainable added value for their communities. This objective is particularly relevant in times when social responsibility and commitment are required.

Interested parties can take part in four digital information events to learn more about the scholarship. The first appointment will take place on Monday, September 9, 2024 , from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. More information about the appointments and the application process are available on the website www.sdw.org/hans-weisser-stipendium

To apply, some requirements must be met. This includes an academic conclusion (at least Bachelor or master certificate) and a commitment to social or social projects. In addition, applicants should have at least two years of practical professional experience or experience as a founder. These requirements ensure that applicants already have a well -founded basis on which they can build their new experiences abroad.

The Hans Weisser Scholarship is not only a possibility for personal development, but also a step towards a more active and shaping role in society. It offers young talents a platform to further develop their ideas and projects and at the same time to work internationally.

This scholarship is of great importance, since it enables the participants to expand their skills and expand their professional networks across national borders. In an increasingly networked world, such opportunities can be decisive for the professional success of the next generation.
