On November 8, 2025, the “Afternoon in Marienfelde” will take place in Marienfelde, which promises a colorful festival for residents, families, children and young people. As berlin.de reports, guests can expect a varied stage program with singing and dance performances as well as numerous games and movement activities.
Special highlights of the program include craft activities, face painting and a climbing tower, all of which are offered free of charge. To encourage the activities, children receive a running card that they can have stamped at the participation stands. The reward for diligent participation is a refreshing ice cream. Peace and diversity in focus
This year the festival also has the theme “Peace”. According to mein-berlin.net, the organizers invite visitors to actively work on a large loom with colorful wool to create a collaborative work of art to visualize different ideas of peace. There will also be creative hands-on activities, such as making peace doves, which promote an exchange about togetherness.
A police station will offer bicycle coding to prevent bicycle theft. In addition, a mobile bicycle workshop will transform old bicycle parts into creative objects. A karaoke bus is available for music lovers where you can perform your favorite songs. In addition to a climbing tower, numerous other games and exercise options await guests young and old.
A celebration for the whole family
The event is organized by the association Leben in Marienfelde (L.i.Ma. e.V.) and not only offers entertainment, but also promotes lively exchange in the neighborhood. In addition, a flea market will take place on the daycare center grounds to complement the festival. Musical and dance performances on stage round off the diverse program.
