On Saturday before the Wall Memorial Day, Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) will visit Teltow. He will speak to the participants of the Berlin Wall Run there. The wall run is reminiscent of the victims of the city's former division. The event begins on Saturday morning and leads along the former border strip on a distance of around 161 kilometers. Individual runners have a time limit of 30 hours.
The Chancellor's visit is used to offer the runners catering, since Teltow is a supply point on the route.
